G4 Medical Services is a specialist medical placement company that opened its doors in 2014 and is still
owner-managed and family run. Gretchen Ehlers, the Managing Director, started her career in the
medical industry dispensing medicine in 2004 and it did not take her long to pursue opportunities where
she could make a significant difference in people’s lives. Her experience in running up to 5 trauma &
emergency units and coordinating medical evacuations, as well as her broad medical practice
administration knowledge, paved the way for G4 Medical Services.
Gretchen shares her passion for this industry with her husband, Jaco, and together they satisfy a niche in
the market for independently registered practitioners for private practices in South Africa.
The business is Gauteng-based with a vision of expanding services countrywide bt 2020.
Managing Director
Gretchen started working in the medical industry 15 years ago as a Pharmacist
Assistant and moved her way up to be a successful business woman. She’s
become known in the medical industry as a recruiter with a personality and a
passion for people. Gretchen is the mother of two gorgeous girls and has
managed to find the perfect balance between work and play.
Having worked in the security industry for nearly 20 years and managing teams
for most of this time, Jaco has what it takes to work under pressure and bring
solutions to their clients. He is a hands-on and organised individual with a desire to contribute to the long-term sustainable growth of G4 Medical Services.
Jaco is a family man who holds the security, safety, and health of his people close to his heart.
